Went into subway today about 3:30 to get my daughter a sandwich. The girl behind counter did not even acknowledge me. Instead of coming over to help me out she continued doing what she was doing when it clearly could have waited a couple of minutes. Then when she did help me she was very rude and did not really put anything on my daughter's sandwich. Yes I could have asked for more stuff to be put on it but I was already frustrated with the way I was being treated. Her demeanor and attitude was horrible. This is the second time I have been in that store in Junction City and that same girl waited on me both times. She had the same attitude both times. Although she is not the only employee in that store with that attitude towards their work. The customer service in that store is very bad. I say the owner needs to train their employees better or the employees need to get out of customer service work.

Visited 1/30/23 @1pm Poor customer service. The workers were busy talking about their lunch and not paying attention to my order, I had to continuously repeat myself. Do better training.

Honestly one of the worst Subways I have ever been to. Food should be consistent when visiting a chain. This location seemed to be on their own. However the stuff was friendly and took care of our order quickly

I'm 100% done with Subway restaurants forever.
If I ever did change my mind, the Junction City Subway will NEVER, EVER get my business again.
The only sandwich I ever bought was the sweet onion teriyaki chicken sandwich.
I went to the Junction City Subway one night about a month ago and decided to try their sweet onion teriyaki beef steak sandwich since it uses the same sauce as the chicken sandwich that I've always bought for many years.
The employee was awesome, the sandwich was terrible!
Not because of the employee, but because of their new teriyaki sauce recipe.
I spent almost $28 buying 2 sandwiches with double meat on each one.
I saw that the sauce was much darker and thicker than the regular sweet onion teriyaki sauce I was accustomed to for years, which was so good that I would have extra put on my sandwich every time and get extra sweet onion teriyaki sauce in a to go container too.
I mentioned the color, asking if it was the right sauce.
I was told that Subway changed their recipe.
After I got home, we were absolutely disappointed.
The sauce was terrible and tasted nothing like the recipe they have been using for years.
It was thicker and had a much stronger taste to it.
It was like what you would buy in a bottle from a store to season meat you are cooking and nothing like a sandwich sauce.
We didn't even eat 1/3 of our sandwiches.
It was a huge waste of almost $28.
On top of the sauce being absolutely terrible, the beef steak was disgusting and tasteless.
It looked like a huge clump of shredded cardboard and tasted what you might imagine shredded cardboard would taste like too.
I submitted a complaint online for that store hoping someone would get back to me and offer a refund.
I didn't hear anything for days and submitted another one.
Apparently the first one went to my spam folder because I didn't see it until the owner of the Junction City Subway said he had sent one previously.
His 2nd email did come through to me.
In it he told me that because they allegedly had success so far with the new recipe of sweet onion teriyaki sauce and because it was the Subway corporation that changed the recipe, that he would not be giving me a refund.
I responded to him in another email that it wasn't just the new sauce recipe that made the sandwich horrible, but that the beef steak was like mushy cardboard with no taste to it.
He never responded.
Before anybody buys a sweet onion teriyaki chicken or beef steak sandwich from Subway, you should ask to sample the sauce first so you don't waste money like I did.
Also ask for a sample of the beef steak.
It's nothing like steak as you would imagine it would be.
Our beef steak looked like it had been shredded then packed together tightly, into a huge clump, and was tasteless.
What was left of our sandwiches went into the garbage.
I wasted almost $28.00 at Subway but will never do that again because I will NEVER buy another sandwich from Subway again, especially the Junction City Subway.
From reading reviews, there are plenty of people who feel the same about the Junction City location.
Don't waste your time and money there.
